In this course you will design and produce your own garment. From pattern to production, your personal garment is in your hands!

Based on a theme, an experimental, playful exploration of textile design takes place. The ideas are recorded in a workbook. From this, designs and approaches to possible implementations of a personal garment are developed. The focus is on finding a pattern and textile implementation, and the designed garment is produced. There is a lively exchange and mutual inspiration within the group. After completion, the focus is on reflection; this results in further steps and work, a deepening of the topic, the material or a continuation in the workbook. Being able to engage with a topic and enjoying the process are important prerequisites for this course.
This sewing course differs from traditional sewing courses: no existing patterns are used - the focus is on designing your own garment.
